I'm trying to connector my computer to my projector using a VGA to Component cable. My projector has it's own VGA->component cable connected to my component switch box, which currently hosts an Xbox Media Center, Xbox 360, and Playstation 3, all connected via component.
When I try to use my PC using VGA->Component to this switch box, the projector does not receive any signal, even when the only display active is the VGA port on my laptop (the main screen turned off using the Fn function key).
I can connect my Xbox 360 to this projector via VGA, and my computer works through VGA. Is there a way to make the signal my laptop is producing Component-over-HD15(VGA) for that connector? Or is that not the problem?
Is anyone familiar with this problem?
