tribes 1 question on a pub

i was chasing the capper on raindance, and he was getting away and i pulled my rifle out and sniped him right before he capped (i was prolly 20 meters away)

i was accused of o-sniping by this loser named busdriver, and bugs backed him up saying that is o sniping.

i dont remember this being a rule 5 years ago, is this the norm now?

i thought it was pretty fuckin gay

I only ever was annoyed by OOB o-sniping. There is nothing wrong with sniping the capper as a chaser.

my thoughts exactly, i argued w/ bugz that i was not o sniping, hence me chasing down like 20 cappers and killing them (by the end of the map)

that is hardly 'o sniping', it just really annoyed me. Then after arguing w/ the bugz for a bit, he muted me so that i could not talk anymore.
