in all seriousness, i had this problem too until i got an HDTV, so i just hooked it up to my computer monitor

Yeah, either get an HDTV or hook it up to your computer monitor.
 
really thought best solution is to drop $40 bux on a 360 VGA cable

most gamestops carry them, i bought two the other day didn't know the even existed

play games with 0 lag and they look sexy as hell on my CRT

street fighter 4 blew my mind how good it looked on my 23" LCD HD monitor. and i don't even play it anymore, but i know it looks way better than what a CRT could do.

Are you high? A GOOD lcd will blow away any CRT in terms of quality.

Edit: even the cheap ones look better then a damn CRT. Plus Widescreen > *

my computer monitor is an old piece of shit as well, and wouldn't really work well with how our living room is set up.

besides the "cheap Westinghouse LCD" suggestion, whats the best 32" inch tv out there i can get for on the cheap so i can play dead rising.

I have the same problem. I'm on ~30 inch screen and the tiny text drives me up the wall. I wish those bastards put options in about text size.
 
SF4 was unreadable on my roommates 28" standard def tv. when i plugged it into my computer monitor everything became sexified.
