Anyone know of a good Texas Hold'em PC game? Something simple, just need to be able to play against CPU opponents. My friend wants me to find one that doesn't have spyware. I'll "buy" it if necessary.

i use pokerstars online for play money, no cc or minimum deposit or anything

I'm using partypoker.com... if you find a good table, you can have some fun and learn a lot about the game.

The only real negative are the members of the "all-in" gang... they show up, go all in before the flop, lose, and leave. Happens all the freakin' time.

You would probably have a better experience getting someone to do a paypal/Pokerstars transfer of $5 or $10 and playing the penny tables on pokerstars.

All you have to do is make a user and you're set. You get 1000 chips, and if you lose them all you can reset. If you get good you can start banking your chips and try to make the top 50 list

Alright, this is from personal experience and a few friends. Play Pokerstars. Go to pokerstars.com and download their software. Yes, at the beginning it is crazy. All-ins left and right. But once you get to the upper levels with fake money, its pretty normal. Once you get to the point where people can't simply re-buy for free its pretty damn good.
