The only wrist GPS receivers I've seen are bulky and I wouldn't call them a "watch."

the ones I'm looking at don't really specify if data can be downloaded from the gps into a computer.
Well I'm going to say ~150. I know a GPS doesn't really exist below 100 and I'm will to go to 200 if necessary.

A small handheld unit would work, it doesn't have to be a watch.

They have a few that aren't watches, there is one that is just a usb stick you carry around and it keeps detailed gps data of where you have been at all times.

Not bad of a price and it exports to KML files. I won't necessarily be wearing it, I can always strap it to a bag.

Buy a regular handheld for that price, the Magellan Explorist 500 can easily be had for under $200, is in color, and can also be used for turn by turn directions with the proper software.

yes you can, you may need to buy a cable, or you could look for the "Adventure bundle"
