it hurts to eat solid food.

or...anything for that matter, but I haven't had anything but apple sauce and tea all day. I need something that's food.

sugguestions?

hard cocks are solid, and therefore not an option. same goes for sandpaper.

and pray that the next 3 days go quick :/

worst experience of my life

yeah this is the second time I've gotten it...it's really horrible, but not quite as bad as last time because I got antibiotics faster then last time, as I knew what it was sooner.

Still, it's not good when the doctor takes a look and says "ew, gross!"

menthol cough drops
As said above, gargling and vitamin C works wonders too
I get soar / strep throats every winter, and this is how i deal with them.
Hope it helps.

don't eat any dairy as that will exacerbate the mucas buildup, gargle some hot salt water, as hot as you can stand it, will help break up any mucas that is already there. Take ALLOT of echinacea and Vitamin C.

stop putting shit in your mouth if you dont know where its been.

personal policy of mine.

is there anything specific that causes it? The doctor didn't give me any advice on AVOIDING this painful throat infection, just wrote me a perscription and booted me out the door.

SSJBejiita - I have fishermen's friends. they're helping a bit, but not a lot.

it seems that nothing is helping a LOT, but I think that'll be the case for the next few days till the antibiotics start helping me out.

Chloroseptic numbs the back of your throat (its an antiseptic hehe)
and its prob. the best chance at eating after you spray your tonsils with it.
