Modem Locks Up PC
I have a K6 system that locks up when I try and dial to the internet. I have tried a couple different modems then actually went out and bought a new one but everytime the computer attempts to dial to the internet the computer freezes and I have to restart it.
Ive tried everything I can think of to try and solve the problem, switching PCI slots, using XP's driver, loading drivers that came with the modem but still nothing. I have not a clue what could be going wrong but I need some help. :/
