stargate sg-1 canceled?

SciFi could use some better programming for sure. How the hell can they call themselves the scifi channel if they don't have endless re-runs of:

Star Trek
Star Trek: The Next Generation
Star Trek: Deep Space Nine
Star Trek: Voyager
Star Trek: Enterprise
Babylon 5
Farscape
Firefly
Sliders
Battlestar Galactica: The Original Series
Greatest American Hero

They should have *all* these shows. I don't know wtf they're thinking.

You can visit Spike for some Star Trek. They do have Firefly, Farscape and the original Battlestar listed on their site. http://www.scifi.com/onair/

friday has always been low for ratings anyway
and with shows that are naturally geared to a guy market in an age group where people like to go out they cant expect gigantic shit

MGM should just take one for the team and pull Atlantis from Sci-Fi and tell them to fuck off.

It's been said that a loophole around the Sci-Fi contract is to just rebrand SG-1 into a new show. So keep the same actors but call it something else. Doing this, they could then take the show to a new channel, it just wouldn't be called SG-1.

If it plays out this way where SciFi buries the show and does not allow it to play out elsewhere it will be a big mistake. People love the show and they will take it out on SciFi. It will be a death blow to a channel that rode it to the top only to have the viewers take the channel down.

Looks like the producers may get what they wanted by calling it Stargate Command like they wanted to do a couple seasons ago.
