Also that side story one from a year or two back was good enough to watch twice

Ill see it, just because. Whether pay to see it in the theaters or wait for it come be rentable at home is another thing.

Pros: Not JJ Abrams
Cons: Stuck dealing with what JJ gave them.

I enjoyed TFA for what it was, nostalgia porn. I will likely enjoy this for the same reasons.

The prequels did one good thing for me, they taught me to never have anything but the lowest of expectations.
 
Yeah, not thrilled about that but also don't think Trevernow or whatever his name is would have done much better.

Kinda expect Last Jedi story to be thin and mediocre but think Rian Johnson might be a good director so this does have that going for it.

If this movie is meant to kinda clone Empire for how it fits in this story he might be someone that pulls that off in the least boring way.

Also hasn't this been the one movie that hasn't been dogged by rewrites and re-shoots?
