spyware problem

I keep getting the same 2 popups ALL the time. I also find a file named ' adupdmanager', but everytime i delete it, it just shows back up.

I run adware 6.0 all the time and find like 50 objects but i never can get rid of this. Any other alternatives besides reformatting?

i had that problem, adaware and spybot s&e can't fix it

go in your registry, delete all references to that file, and delete the actual .exe itself, thats how i got rid of mine

get process viewer, and hijackthis, find out where they are running, go into safe mode, use process viewer to see if its running, if it is, kill it then delete the file, if not just delete the files. you just gotta make sure u take out of run/startup using hijackthis so u can delete it

start > run > type "regedit" > press control+f type in the .exe name, delete all references

looked up 'adupdmanager.xml' and w/o the xml and it didn't find anything

thats not the .exe

you first have to open taskmanager look at your running processes and find the questionable one, then search for that

like in my case it was called wscript.exe
