This is very true but its much cheaper to order online. These bats are insane, talking about 300ish min.

You get what you pay for. It's better to try local so you can at least get a feel for the weight and length you're looking for. Then just order it online.

If its a competitive league:

1) Miken
2) Find out which mikens are banned... don't buy that
3) Buy the miken which is not banned.
4) They are expensive and are much more prone to crack/break in cold weather. Use them for game situations and when its warm out... otherwise use some shitty bat (cages/warmups/etc)
