So, my friend who is 29 just got diagnosed with emphysema

Needless to say we are all very very shocked. And to anyone who prays, say a prayer for him and his family.

I don't know a lot about the disease and I know it's most likely not life threatening but still, there are a lot of lifestyle changes the he and his family must make. And it makes me very very sad to hear he has this condition at such a relatively young age.

Sorry for the rant, just needed to get that off my chest.

i didnt know you could have a predisposition to emph. My gramps had it, never smoked a day in his life, he got it because he was a welder, and because he was a smaller guy they used to use him for welding in small....and unventilated places.
