AC/DC’s Phil Rudd has been charged with trying to have someone murdered
According to New Zealand news website Stuff.co.nz, longtime AC/DC drummer Phil Rudd has been arrested on a charge of “attempting to procure a murder.” Though the wording of it is a little weird, “attempting to procure a murder” is exactly what it sounds like: Rudd, allegedly, tried to hire someone to have two people killed. Stuff also says Rudd was charged with possession of a methamphetamine and marijuana, as well as “threatening to kill”—which also probably means exactly what it sounds like. We know very little of the story beyond that, though, because the judge on the case hasn’t released the names of the intended victims—or the hitman—to the public.
