Sending porn to people in jail

Is this an acceptable thing to do? My cousin recently got arrested for assault and it looks like he might be in jail for a while. This is also not his first offense so he could really be fucked. We had joked around a bit a while back about a case that was pending, that if he ended up getting canned, I'd send him porn and shit. So now I'm obligated to send him something

What would they say if I tried to send him some porn and maybe a few books? Anyone ever done this before?

also, its a county jail so its pretty tame.

I have a crazy special forces friend like that, he's never been arrested, but since he got back he always does some crazy ass shit. Always has a blade on him, or a .45 in his glove box. People are usually afraid to have him around.

wow. That's pretty much a case of them wanting to kick a man while he's down, and they did. I'm sure the prison is a much safer place now that they took his main recreation away.
