ROMNEY 2012!

Yeah, liberals never lie.

Anti-Obama 'sorority girl' comes clean

The girl in the picture is Kim Stafford. Far from being an Alabama student, Stafford grew up in Boston and attends a liberal arts university in western Massachusetts. Furthermore, the university doesn't even have a Greek system, making the claims of her being a sorority girl completely false.
To top it off, Stafford actually plans on voting for President Barack Obama in November.

from the pictures it appears the tags were removed. Am I suppose to believe they were made in the USA just because a politician said they were on the bottom of his website begging for money? Why is the brand being concealed from me?

They decided they'd move to Italy instead... lol

Marchionne Seen Missing Fiat Sales Target by $19 Billion - Bloomberg

"To counter the severe slump in European sales, Marchionne is considering building Chrysler models in Italy, including Jeeps, for export to North America. The Italian government is evaluating tax rebates on export goods to help Fiat. Marchionne may announce details of his plan as soon as Oct. 30, the people said."

Mitt Romney In GOP Debate: Shut Down Federal Disaster Agency, Send Responsibility To The States

During a CNN debate at the height of the GOP primary, Mitt Romney was asked, in the context of the Joplin disaster and FEMA's cash crunch, whether the agency should be shuttered so that states can individually take over responsibility for disaster response.

"Absolutely," he said. "Every time you have an occasion to take something from the federal government and send it back to the states, that's the right direction. And if you can go even further, and send it back to the private sector, that's even better. Instead of thinking, in the federal budget, what we should cut, we should ask the opposite question, what should we keep?"

"Including disaster relief, though?" debate moderator John King asked Romney.

"We cannot -- we cannot afford to do those things without jeopardizing the future for our kids," Romney replied.

And what's wrong with that?

The prevailing wisdom is that nothing gets done without the federal government. This certainly explains our success in the war on drugs, poverty, terrorism, illiteracy etc. Minor setbacks like Katrina or the gulf oil spill only strengthen the case for increased funding.

 try again

TSA is Homeland Security isn't it, not FEMA?

Yes, and?

I'm saying just look at what happens when the government gets their hands on something. The initial goal of FEMA was to provide fast emergency response but now FEMA acts like an insurance company and gives money to people who didn't have insurance.

TSA was supposed to be about airport security but now it's branching out into other things as well.

Government is like cancer, it grows and spreads.

Look into it is what I'd suggest.

You'll find such programs, like many that the states did at one point were rife with corruption, influence pedaling, favoritism and those ills resulted in it being moved to the federal level.

deregulate the insurance market and you'll see adequate rates being leveled by private insurance for idiots that choose to build a mile and closer to the coast

they dont allow it, so no one sells it but the government, who charges a very cheap fee considering. Honestly it should be mandatory if you build on the coast to carry flood.

THEN we can use FEMA for the truly nutty disasters no one can prepare for, like Joplin getting leveled *

unless your home is paid off and you didnt have insurance and you become a burden again

insurance works best at 100% saturation
