The "personal opinion" being shown is not necessarily that the reporter disagrees with the statement, but that they don't recognise that the phrase is an accepted term. While that's an understandable position, it's still a position of personal preference.

Yes but it's a personal preference which really gives no insight as to where any bias may lie, since it doesn't show which side the reporter may support. Showing a personal preference does not equate to showing bias and even if you were to read it as bias, you wouldn't know to which side (if any) the reporter is biased, so it's basically useless information.

I only say since triple is talking about bias....if you're not, then I don't really have an argument with you.
