Quick, factor this equation!

Any math wizards out there, please factor this godawful mess for me. I can't wrap my brain around it. I'm trying to solve for V.

R = V *(4 + SL / 2 - V / 2) * EF / 100

write it as

2R /(EF/100) = V(8+SL-V) <--

solve V(8+SL-V) as -V^2+8V+SLV as a quadratic

try that...then set it equal to 2R/(EF/100)

OR

0 = V(4+[SL/2]-[V/2])*(EF/100) - R

multiply that thru and everything, THEN solve the quadratic, thing is, this way you have more variables in the answer.

wouldnt you just twist some of the twisted variables around? I mean thats an awful big twist of calculations to twist at him. Im not sure he could handle a twist of such large twistitude.

Wow, that was an unexpected twist at the end.

I hate you. I call foul.
