Yeah the disabling Media Server actually didn't work. It disconnected like right after I made that post lol.. sorry guys.
Sometimes I'll be able to play for hours without it doing it, sometimes it'll do it after a few games.
My only wonder is wtf they wouldn't have addressed this. It's obviously a very widespread problem by reading all the posts on various forums.
I found some list of "working routers" on the PS3 but I don't think I'm gonna go drop some more dough on a router when I mainly just bought the thing as a Blu ray player anyway.
