I have been trying to figure out what a pretentious hipster is. I read what it says in wikipedia and I cant really figure it out. What is a pretentious hipster? I imaged googled it and this is what I got.

Dear Sipher,

Hipsters are emo people. Well, to put it more accurately, they were emo people, but emo's day in the sun has long since passed, so they moved on to the next closest thing.

I, for one, eagerly anticipate finding out what the next stage on the emo/hipster evolutionary scale is. I hope it's some sort of wannabe redneck. I guess New Yorkers will find out first.

Can a christian not engage in recreational activity besides God? Can I not find out what a hipster is while pursing my beliefs?
