I have always found it amazing the numbers of people who are playing individual games online. According to the stats listed on gamespy, 10x as many people are playing HL1-HL2 mods than any other games. My brother plays CZ all the time and he says you can have bots playing on your server. So I am not sure if 50k of those are bots or the game is really that popular.
Same thing with UT2004, I am sure a lot of those people counted are bots. I used to play UT2004 a lot but not any more because the server browser doesn't tell you if there are bots in the match, you have to enter and look at their pings. Commonly, you will enter and there are a ton of bots. Kind of defeats the purpose of playing online. This was something nice about T2, it told you how many bots were in the server. Now days, I usually just play BF:V and CoD:OU, there are no bots in CoD and to my knowledge BF:V doesn't allow bots, I sure as hell would not want them.
