Symptoms: soreness, multiple subluxations.
Cause: Torn miniscus due to full knee dislocation
Cure: Menisectomy

i had surgery on my lateral meniscus in January. wasn't too fun. arent you supposed to be in your brace?

depends on the tear. Most often, your "brace" consists of a moderately wrapped ace bandage.

i had to keep one on for 2 months...from thigh down to ankle keeping my leg totally extended. hated it so much

Know the feeling, had my ACL repaired when I was 16. Although my knee was twice that size, it got fucking HUGE with swelling.

But it did look the same color wise.

I didn't get a brace. Just the ace bandage, like Rooster mentioned.
I can't get it wet yet so I really can't wait to take a real shower instead of sponging myself in the bathtub.
