I understand this isn't best done with PS but it's what I have. I'm trying to create fonts around a round area and for the outer edges to remain squared very much like this shirt design.

Does anyone know of a tutorial for this kind of thing? All I'm able to find is how to follow a circle with fonts w/o warping the text which is not what I want.

I see what the problem is, I think triple actually was a GIMP fan the whole time (going back to 96), so he wrote the book about that instead.

Don't rasterize it. Then the text won't be vector anymore, so it'll be pretty useless when making something like that tshirt.

Use convert to shape instead. Then you can warp, and even fine tune your paths.
