Usenet is the way to go. I have had a Giganews account for years. 957 days binary retention, 2829 days text retention. Everything under the sun. Downside, no streaming. You have to download it before watching.
But their MIMO newsreader is pretty solid and I REALLY like their vyperVPN service. It basically sets up a 256-bit encrypted VPN tunnel between you and one of their servers, which then gives your outbound traffic one of their thousands of IP addresses before sending your packet on to its destination. So I can look like my machine is situated in LA, WA, Amsterdam or Hong Kong.
Great for griefing forums or MMOs that try to kick you by IP. Or browsing for horse fucking sheep fucking dog fucking ugly chick porn.
