October is for horror [books]

I can't be the only one that reads as much horror/thriller/dark fantasy books as I can handle this month.

Last weekend I read Richard Matheson's Hell House

I had never read a haunted house story before. It was really good.

I picked up 'Salem's Lot by Stephen King this morning. It's always on the top lists of vampire books but I had never checked it out. Hope it's good. :popcorn:

What are you reading? Do you have any suggestions for others to read?

I loved Books of Blood 1-3. Never read his 4-6.

Been awhile since I read a horror book...but then again, I'm reading about dismemberment and demons all the time in WH40K...so go figure.
