so die hard is widely considered a low-key xmas movie, the fact that it's xmas has little to do with the overall events of the movie

aka a non xmas xmas movie

this is my breif gruvles boomer seasoned non-xmas xmas movies list:



-lethal weapon (gary busey screams its goddamn xmas, jingle bells plays at the start)

-trading places (takes place around xmas with xmas things happening but not about xmas plotwise)

-the long kiss goodnight (opens with xmas parade etc)



what others r there
 
It stuck in my head pretty well, caught myself saying it while stringing new bird netting to protect the berry canes today.

Space for rent in my head, very cheap rates.
 
'GO' is also set around Christmas, Christmas Eve I think

Haven't seen that for ages, might rewatch. Katie Holmes always a ++

You know what is really weird, when you see him walking around inside the Casino smoking a ciggy.

It just looks so wrong, hard to imagine that was normal everywhere until not very long ago.

damn I miss those days :)
