So... my friend got a new comp long story short, we got it to work (so no doa return) then it broke again.
Specs:
-Asus P5ND2-SLI nForce4 Chipset LGA775
-NVIDIA Geforce 6200 PCI Express
Symptoms:
-Monitor (which works) doesn't get any video signal from the vid card. (monitor goes to powersave)
-CD drive constantly checks and automaticaly closes or doesnt open fully and then closes automatically.
-Never boots to windows when it's broken like this. (it was set to auto-login and i never hear the windows startup sounds)
My theory:
-For whatever reason, it's reseting before it even gets to bios... i have no idea why or how to fix it tho.
