So someone just gave me this camera, And I am not a photographer. I'm basically looking at this thing and all these features and have no idea what they do.

So im basically asking what are some of the cool features I should focus on using? Are there any settings I should tweak? Im not looking into getting into photography but would like to have the camera set to take fast pics which are nice and sharp. Keep in mind I have no idea what the terms are or anything like that.

Help a brotha out TW Photo experts.
 
sounds like you want easy mode camera

just use the full auto or other auto modes like portrait/landscape on the dial on top and click away :shrug:

or you could spend some time figuring out how to control it, but if you just want to snap photos and don't care about how they look don't waste your time.
