[NFL] Cowher retires

everywhere i have been reading seems to think he'll either be back next season (if a team will pay him + give up picks), or he'll sit out a season, do sports shows, then come back the next season. Either way, they say he's leaving Pittsburgh because they won't pay him what he think's he's worth (8-9 mil).

why are steeler fans worried? its not like the organization has had a bad track record (near .600 winning % and 5 championships) with hiring coaches in the past what...40+ years?

if i'm reading everything right, 32 over 8 years is 500k less then as the dolphins HC. Thats cool though....fuckin coward.
yeah, but he also have bonuses beyond the 32 million. the 32 million was just the base. it goes up like 600-900k depending on other stuff, per year. But it's not about the $$$, because the Dolphin's owner said he'd pay Saban more to stay.

The stillers hired chuck noll in 1969. Cowher started in 92. They have made two very good hires obviously, but that dosent mean they'll make the right pick this time.

now you are insulting the intelligence of the Rooney's by thinking they would actually consider someone as bad as that

"The stillers hired chuck noll in 1969. Cowher started in 92. They have made two very good hires obviously, but that dosent mean they'll make the right pick this time."

What evidence do you have then that they will go out and get some goon. People complained about them hiring Cowher when they did because he wasnt a big name. Look where that got them.
