Have the Asus A7N8X Deluxe mobo, with a Barton 2500 XP and PC3200 Corsair XMS RAM.
Anyway I have it set at 200 fsb and 10 on the multiplier. My temps are low (just threw on a new heat sink) but my problem is that when I restart the computer and check the stats on the CPU, using both MBM 5 and 3D Mark, the speeds are not consistent.
On a cold boot I usually get a reading of 2005 MHz. But if reboot I get readings anywhere from 1745 MHz to 1945 MHz. Another funny thing is that once it reads 2005 MHz, for as long as the computer is on it will read 2005 MHz, but when it reads something else (say 1745 MHz), then it will vary every time I check in 3d Mark. I have no idea what is going on.
If anyone can lend a hand it would be greatly appreciated
