Ok this morning I was just laying in my bed watching The Two Towers on my computer. Well the movie was going along fine when all of a sudden the screen flicked and now only a small area in the center of the screen displays anything. The rest of the screen doesn't "light" up at all. It doesn't even have that soft grey glow. Its just pitch black like its off.
I tried just turning everything off for awhile and coming back and the problem was still there. It even displays the screen like that while booting up. Not just in windows. I was able though to right click in windows on that narrow strip and I lowered my res to 640X480 and it did add about 1/2 an inch to the displaying area. I'm really at a loss on what to do...Is my monitor fucked? Or did some display setting just get jacked and how do I fix it?
