My grandma died this morning

My mom woke me up at 5:30 this morning crying and shit, told me that my grandma died. She was pretty old, 88 i think, she had pneumonia (sp) for like a month and this morning she just finally stopped breathing.
 
im sorry to hear that :(. my grandpa just got out of the hostpital a couple days ago because he needed surgery after his minor heart attack
 
Call me slow but I just realized that this is a huge subject.

Sorry for your loss. My maternal grandmother died after a long period of dementia. That meant to me that her death was the smallest loss of them all. When her body ceased to function, she was already long gone, slowly eroded away piece by piece.

Cherish the memories.
