my burner can only burn once, then i have to reboot

in order to burn another... this happened on my dads old computer with his burner so im wondering if theres a quick fix for it

or if they were just shitty burners that died

on the first burn that works, it seems to be spinning really fast and its loud and humming, but on a burn after that it'll be like 25% quieter

when it gets to the end of the burn, it always hangs at 100% and i get
session fixation errors and stuff like that

any ideas?

what software are you using to burn?

What version of Windows? Do you have all the updates?

Have you tried drag and dropping files in the windows explorer, and burning that way as a test? (WinXP or newer)
