Mote Extractor

I'm wondering if there are mote clouds of anything besides shadow and life, and if you need the goggles to see them (Khorium is nonexistant, so I haven't made the goggles yet).

there's small shadow gas clouds all over shadowmoon valley. it doesn't say anything with a mouse-over, but you can see em floating around. they're shit-green colored and a little bigger than an NE wisp, with a trail. check it out.

I got a few motes of water.
But they were drops on a mob.

Extractor is some engineering thing? So far I've only seen fire and earth motes out of mining, but I guess it'd be silly to assume all seven would come from mining.

Thottbot indicates you can get Motes of Mana as well.

Yes, but "Air" for "Wind" and "Life" for "Light". So mote it be.

Meh, roughly the same essence I suppose. Given you need ten of each to make a Primal one and then one of each of them to make a Primal Might it seems like a farm-fest making one much less more (which I suspect all the high-end crafting plans will require).

Those are the engineering mote "veins". You need the extractor, then you break out the ghostbuster beam on them and get free motes.
