Trump’s Racism: An Oral History - The Atlantic
I think that was the first link on Google. Lol. I don’t know how you have the ability to get out of bed every morning. If everyone I encountered thought I was a complete dumb shit, I’d probably kill myself. How you’re not dead yet is astonishing.
most of that entire article is just hearsay. no actual proof of anything.
I. I wouldn't feel like i had to rent or sell my luxury apartments to welfare recipients either. has nothing to do with race. This does not prove he's a racist.
II. Trump never said anything racist towards or about the central park five. he just condemned the crimes committed and said people that commit these types of crimes should get the death penalty. He might even still believe that some of them did it. A lot of people still believe OJ murdered his wife. This does not prove he's a racist.
III.
Trump mentioned Native Americans who had recently opened casinos and said to George Miller, “They don’t look like Indians to me.” He said that. It was so outrageous."
Well you know what? It's not like nobody has ever pretended to be an Indian to get what they want, right Elizabeth Warren? Still does not prove he's a racist.
IV.
n the summer of 2005, Donald Trump had an idea: What if the next season of his reality-TV show, The Apprentice, pitted “a team of successful African Americans versus a team of successful whites”? Trump thought the format would be a sort of social commentary—“reflective of our very vicious world.”
We DO live in a vicious world, full of racism and bigotry. I don't see how that remark makes him racist. Still does not prove he's a racist, sorry.
V. What is racist about wanting to see that a President of the US was actually born in the US? Has nothing to do with race. Obama is half white and half black, we all know this, so what's racist about asking where he was born? Again, still does not prove Trump is a racist.
VI. He blamed both sides for being very violent in Charlottesville. He's absolutely right for doing so. He condemned the KKK and white supremacists completely, and he said not everyone was being bad, not all "alt-right" people and not all "alt-left" people were bad, some were good people, but the ones that were being violent on the left and the right, and of course the ACTUAL KKK and white supremacists there (because not all alt-right people are KKK or white supremacists, and not all alt-left people are violent terrorist antifa types, and you know this). So yeah, still no proof that he's a racist. Sorry.
VII.
He reportedly referred to African countries as “shithole” nations—asking why the U.S. can’t have more immigrants from Norway instead—and complained that, after seeing America, immigrants from Nigeria would never “go back to their huts.”
Well, to be fair, most African countries ARE shitholes, quite frankly, and most immigrants from Nigeria were probably living in huts. Truth hurts, I suppose. But truth is not racist. Still not proof that he's a racist.
