And finally, and more importantly, maybe it was "blocked" for a period of time because there are a lot of representatives that know full well that the majority of Americans don't support it and don't want WWIII. Even a ton of Democrats at this point are admitting there's a problem with our border and immigration. For even a handful to admit that, it's insane. People here are far more worried about their dollar's purchasing power/inflation, even if they don't understand it, then fighting some proxy war through Ukraine. Most people in the world can't find it on a map for crying out loud.

p.s. I wouldn't have given one cent to Ukraine. Gee, golly, by your logic, that means Putin controls me!

They don’t grasp the fundamentals of economics and how this war is a good thing for Americans wallets. That the vast majority of the money spent in Ukraine, is actually directly spent on American corporations within the US who are hiring, giving out raises, and in turn the Americans working there are spending their money on housing and luxury goods and services ->providing more jobs ->who in turn spend their own money. This is a positive feedback loop, it also nets the government more money in terms of taxes ->which can be spent on roads, social services like feeding the homeless or police, and more weapons. It’s not even risking American lives. This is why all republicans over the course of the last 100+ years have been giving out weapons to who ever wants them. Don’t fucking kid yourself, Trump isn’t smarter than all those politicians before him, you’re giving him too much credit ->this new policy is meant to be polar opposite to what the dems wants, nothing more.

They just regurgitate whatever the new wave Christian nationalist has told them even if it defies logic and reason.
“It’s not what dems want, therefore good, dems bad!”
And then they just parrot.
The only one screaming in the house to stop the Ukraine aid currently is MG.
