It was a Scolopendra species but I don't remember which one. Probably the Vietnamese subspecies. They have a pretty nasty bite. I haven't gotten tagged by one but it has been a close call several times.

I believe they have caused fatalities but the vast majority of bites are just super painful. Like ER visiting painful.

I've actually sat out a few days with a gun hoping whoever shows up shows up, but no luck yet. They havn't touched my trucks in a week and a half, but that don't mean that it stopped. I got bear traps, I've considered that one, I'd just have to chain up the dogs.
