The game featured three characters, a female (warrior/amazon?), a barbarian guy, and an old wizard.
It was a sidescrolling/platformer, where you grab small red potion bottles for health. The first level has you jumping on some rocks that sink into lava, some caves with bats that attack, and some goblin guys that I can't quite remember very well. You attack enemies to kill them, not hop on them or anything like that.
The layout of the levels was very open: you could complete the first level, for example, along the top platform/walkway areas, but if you messed up, you had to muck it through the cave areas until the end of the level.
This should have been for the Sega Genesis around 1994/1995 I believe.
Any ideas on what game this could be?
