im in the market for a laptop, i just had one question.
with a 1.86ghz Pentium M, 533mhz fsb, would it be better to have dual channel ddr2 at 400mhz or single channel ddr2 at 533mhz? that is all, thanks in advance.
without researching this, i would guess dual channel since it's supposed to double the amount of bandwidth available, which would bring its equivalent speed to 800mhz ideally. you don't really get the equivalent of 800 but i would guess it's more than the equivalent of 533 at the very least.
