ibm is cheap and has good battery life, performance is mediocre. Dell is ok. alienwares are nice but you're cheap. hp blows chunks on top of everything they make... who's left?

I own an acer. It is quite possibly one of the worse purchases I have ever made. Stay away from acers. The lcd broke 3x's (4th times the charm). The opitical drive broke, and I JUST replaced the hard drive (it broke). The 3 year full coverage warranty was probably one of the best purchases I have made in a while...I use it more than the actual laptop.


The gateway i just recently bought is perfect. You should check out the gateway stuff.
