i keep feeling that I'm making the most reasoned arguments in this thread, yet nobody is responding to my posts.

Perhaps it's because both extremes of this argument don't like 'sense'.

Which explains my other larger argument about the south.

I'm reminded of stories of white chicks who get raped because they didn't want to cross the street because it would appear racist.

It's convenient to have a moral high ground sitting at home typing on your computer but when surrounded by chaos and there are groups of people running around from house to house either stealing shit or whatever you're going to be scared. And I for one would rather be 'morally corrupt' and alive than a victim and dead.
