JMeter - Stress Test

Quick Question. I'm trying to do a stress test for both my server's threshold as well as a feature on the website (I want to see how many people can submit a filled out form a second).

Can JMeter do this for me? Any recommendations for what I should be using?

I think Jmeter can do that. I usually just use apache ab

but I think JMeter was a lot more options...I should probably look into it.
