Installing T2 and patch problems

I have an old old old CD with T2 on it. Install runs fine, autoupdater updates to 25034. I restart the system and I get teh message that my version 25034 is out of date but updater couldn't find a more current version. I'm at a loss here and any help would be appreciated.

Add " -online" (no quotes) on the end of your T2 shortcut target.

Change the T2 shortcut to "C:\Dynamix\Tribes\Tribes2\Gamedata\Tribes2.exe" -online

Another tip:

Do NOT run the auto-updater.

1) Delete the current T2 install that you have
2) Reinstall from the CD. Do NOT launch the game or run the updater!
3) Manually D/L the patch and install it by hand. You will soon enjoy Tribal Goodness again!

T1, T2 or T:V?

they have full patched version of t1 on that site too. as well as the server installs for the various versions of Ren for t1 and t2.

I am a renegade mod player, but play tv right now. awaiting the end of boredom.
