I just gave my first lecture!

Holy shit this is awesome. I want this job for the rest of my life!

Basics:
I lectured on Metropolitics for the State and Local government(poli sci) class today. The Ph.D. was out of town and I got to teach the chapter!

I brought them donuts and let them leave 30 minutes early!


Definitely enjoyed all the cute girls :D
 
Nice, you sir are a good grad assistant! I hate when the assistants come into lecture and they try to follows the teachers notes and they barely speak any English. Stupid engineering grad students. 1 Month and this will no longer be an issue.
 
Giving food is an excellent bribe to pay attention. I had a prof who would bring in coffee every morning for my 830 class. He was one of my fav profs based on that.

They didn't fall asleep because they were eating, then you let them out 30 minutes before their nap usually ends.

They hope you do it again so they get more donuts and free time, which you probably won't do if you fill in again.

YOU ARE A FAILURE.
