Kids gonna kid, it’s just the way it is. Don’t have anything nice out around them, they’ll destroy it. The same goes for females in their early 20’s ->if the house or vehicle has a flaw, they’ll find it.
 
If the tweeter is destroyed I'd contact PSB. Aren't they a private owned boutique speaker company? Might be able to work out a replacement or repair.

Women never grow out of that phase. They find any and all problems with everything.
 
Vacuum with the valve completely open. The grill will prevent ripping it out, but be gentle and slow on the approach anyway
