you cant commit murder-suicide on a treadmill if its moving........
unless you hyperventilate to flood the bloodstream with oxygen and be as efficient as possible.

because the last guy wouldn't have anyone to murder before he committed suicide
 
guys i went to college, so i know how to solve this.

first you must state all of your assumptions:

assumption #1: the people that are murdered first will not commit suicide later.
 
maybe everyone would be left since if everybody shot someone else and was in turn shot then they couldnt commit suicide, so they couldnt start the chain
 
hmm.

If the popullation is even then it will go on until there are 2 people left then one will kill the other and then commit suicide, leaving 0 people alive.

If the popullation is odd then it will go on until there are 3 people left. 2 will be killed, leaving 1 guy without anyone to kill. He doesn't have anyone to murder, but he might kill himself anyway?

So either 0 or 1

Then again I may just be an idiot and completely wrong.

are you implying that every single person decides to simultaneously murder cogzinofa, and then they realize life is worth living now that cogz is out of the picture...

because i think thats entirely plausible.
