how can i alter my bandwidth out?

I want to make it so that when i get on my college dc hub (not tw one) i can limit my bandwidth to like 300b/s

The school only allows 650megs of outgoing bandwidth a day and you get a warning if you go over.

There are alot of people from campus on the hub but we can only safely share amongst ourselves.

I need a way to limit my bandwidth out.

the only thing dc++ let's you do, to my knowledge, is say something like "do not accept new connections if my current rate is over xxx", but it won't throttle existing connections :/
 
well, i dont think you can "alter" it, but you should be able to find some sort of program that will allow you to limit the amount of bandwith a certain program uses...
