TRIBES HD 2014 doesn't have happy jump, if that's what you're thinking of.

if he downloaded tribes hd v1 then it didn't have the windows 8 fix. could of messed up the unhappyjump plugin for him. it was because of tribes hd v1 groove made awesome windows 8 fix though.

tribes hd v2 has the fix for that, and happy jump is bad, that y tribes hd v2 has unhappyjump / scripted ski. tribes hd v2 should be good for a while.
