[help] volume dropping down after a few seconds on video files

im watching band of brothers set with media player classic, and realized that after about 5 seconds my volume drops down about 50%
not the actual selector, but my speakers just get softer, if i seek ahead or pause/play it goes loud again for a few seconds, but drops down after awhile again.

is this common or anyone know what could be causing it?

dont think its the speakers cause it only happens with media player classic
 
Go to view/options/filters/audio decoders. Turn off normalize. I had the same problem, and never really noticed but I started wondering why when it went to the next movie in the playlist it would be really loud. It's because during the last file it was slowly getting quieter. Not sure if that's the same problem you're having, but sounds like it.
