I use a Powerbook G4 with an ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 card in it. I just got a new dell LCD monitor (SP2208WFP 22-inch Widescreen) so that I can get a little bit more breathing room for movie-watching and a general increase from the dinky 15" notebook. I am connected directly with DVI but it seems the maximum resolution I can run on the monitor is 1280x800... although the supposed supported max is 1680x1050.
I have little luck finding any drivers for this particular card and one forum post saying that the single DVI input won't support that high of a resolution. TW techies, how can I get my 1680x1050?
