ok so i just moved to a new house with 2 good friends of mine. i just set up my computer in my room but our router and modem is in the living room :'(. the house walls are made of plaster and is kinda old so the signal strength is really low when it hits my room.

so basically i was wondering if there is anything i can do/buy that'll help boost the strength? I've already looked into the strength boosters that you can just plug into the walls but aside from that is there anything else i can do?

ps. i offer pr0n to the Teedub gods.

cut holes in the wall and then put your computer case in a place where the signal strength has been increased due to constructive interference

simple physics

put any thing metal on the other side of the AP(or your wireless device) to bounce back signal.

i've put a hdd behind the ap once and got a signal to work reliable, when it wasn't before. it works best about and inch and a half way
